Temporary Structure for Park

The intent of this design was to give the park inhabitants a new way to circulate through the park. The walls of the structure direct its inhabitants through a defined path.
The height of the structure changes. As one enters the scale is relative the human body, as one exits, the scale changes reformulating the relationship between the individual and the structure.
The curved walls open to suggest an entrance for which people can enter the structure. As one passes through the walls of the structure contract increasing the processional speed. The walls then open up again at the end, allowing the inhabitant to stop and observe the framed view that the structure has created.
Once one arrives at the end of the procession there is time to reflect on their position in the structure, the park, and its surroundings.
